The Pakistan A team defeated India A to win their second-consecutive ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup. Playing at the R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Pakistan A posted a massive 353-run target for India and continued this momentum in the second innings.

The Men in Green found early inroads and kept the young Indian team in check before breaking through the middle order. Spinner Sufiyan Muqeem started by picking up three wickets and helping Team India bundle out 224 runs in 40 overs. As the final wicket fell, all members of the Pakistan team rushed into the middle, celebrating this victory before lining up and performing a Sajdah.
