The Women's T20 World Cup 2023 game between India and Pakistan is going down to the wire and in this intense back-and-forth battle, Pakistan's Sidra Ameen pulled off a brilliant catch to dismiss the big-hitter Shafali Varma. The Indian opener was scoring at a quick rate and tried to hit a six over the long-off boundary.
But Sidra Ameen, who was stationed at that position, moved to her right and leaned out her hand to complete an incredible catch. With balance and concentration, she perfectly caught the ball inches over the boundary rope and gave Pakistan a massive breakthrough.

But Shafali Verma's dismissal didn't derail the Indian innings as Jemimah Rodrigues and Richa Ghosh batted brilliantly to score a 56-run partnership and clinch the game. Ghosh continued her brilliant form and put up a big-hitting 31 in 20 balls with five fours.
Whereas, Rodrigues hit the winning runs to conclude a scintillating half-century. Her knock included eight boundaries as she batted at a strike rate of 139.47. After the game, Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur was extremely elated with this performance and thanked the crowd for their incredible support throughout the game.
She said, "It was a good game. Pakistan batted well but we wanted to win and Jemi and Richa played really well. Very sensible batting from both of them. All the players are keen to do well for the team. Whoever gets the opportunity they are pushing themselves. It's a good sign for us. Win against Pakistan is always special. Good game, crowd was fantastic, got good support."
