Many sportspersons often praise each other, similarly, legendary British commentator Peter Drury, who is unparalleled in his ability to induce emotions in the fans with his words, has recently hailed the voice of Indian cricket, Harsha Bhogle. The 55-year-old football commentator heaped praise on Bhogle and confirmed the two legendary commentators will meet during the WTC final between India and Australia.
The WTC Final 2023 will take place at the Oval in London between the Men in Blue and the Aussies on June 7. During the UEFA Europa League final broadcasting, Peter Drury revealed that he will meet his "hero" Harsha Bhogle next week at the Test championship final.
When asked about meeting the Indian voice of cricket, Drury said, "Speaking out of turn, Harsha. But I think we gotta meet in London next week." While Drury's fellow commentator said, "Lovely, you have to send me a photo." The British commentator continued, "I can't wait. He is my hero."

While Drury praised Harsha Bhogle in a viral video on social media, the Indian cricket commentator was quick to respond with a humble tweet and showed his equal excitement to meet the legendary football commentator. Bhogle took to his Twitter handle and wrote, "He exaggerates so stylishly! Indeed #peterdrury, look forward to meeting you next week and sharing thoughts on sport and broadcasting."
Talking about the WTC Final, Team India will play their second straight final at the Test championship after losing to New Zealand in 2021 in Southampton. While players like Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul, and Rishabh Pant are set to miss the final against Australia, the Men in Blue have included KS Bharat to stand behind the wickets and Ajinkya Rahane as a replacement for injured Shreyas Iyer.
