Invasion on the cricketing field has become a regular aspect these days. A similar incident took place during the ongoing third ODI between India and Australia on Wednesday (March 22) at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai.

Although, it wasn’t a fan this who invaded the field during the Australia innings. In a hilarious incident, a dog rushed onto the field during the 3rd ODI. This incident took place in the 43rd over of the Australia innings with Sean Abbott and Ashton Agar in the middle. Although, the stadium authorities were quick to enter the field, but the dog escaped as he tackled the two groundsmen. However, this incident saw a brief halt in the match.

Talking about the ongoing third ODI, Australia won the toss and opted to bat first. While Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh looked settled in the middle, stitching a crucial 68-run partnership, Hardik Pandya wreaked havoc with his bowling as he dismissed the Australian top-order in his back-to-back three overs. Kuldeep Yadav also picked three wickets as Australia was bundled out for 269.
