Messi with new PSG teammates

New signing Lionel Messi trained with Paris St Germain on Thursday in his first training session since joining the club on Tuesday from Barcelona. Lionel Messi also got to meet some of his new teammates at PSG's Camp des Loges training facility on Thursday. The French giants shared a video of Messi meeting his teammates for the first time on social media. "First steps and first training at the Ooredoo Center!," PSG captioned the video.

Messi has joined Paris Saint-Germain on an initial two-year deal after calling time on his 21-year-long Barcelona career. PSG had finally confirmed the biggest football transfer of all time on Tuesday evening with a video that included footage of their new recruit standing in the centre circle at the Parc des Princes. The Six-time Ballon d'Or winner was given a hero's welcome at Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday as he was officially unveiled following his sensational free transfer.

Welcome to Paris, Leo: Mbappe shares emotional message for Messi

Paris Saint Germain forward Kylian Mbappe shared an emotional post for Lionel Messi on Thursday. Mbappe took to Twitter to share pictures of him welcoming the Argentine star into his new team. He could be seen hugging Messi in one of the pictures. “Welcome to Paris, Leo,” he captioned the pictures. Lionel Messi signed the contract with the French club after parting ways with Barcelona.

Sergio Ramos welcomes Messi to PSG with Instagram post

Spain defender Sergio Ramos also welcomed Lionel Messi to PSG with an Instagram post on Wednesday. He posted the pictures of their jerseys on the photo sharing app and wrote, “Who was going to tell us, right @leomessi? Welcome.!” Messi has signed a two year contract with the French club after leaving his old club FC Barcelona. Messi was at the Catalan club for 21 years and won 10 La Liga and four Champions League titles with his boyhood club.
