Robert Lewandowski's Barcelona debut against Rayo Vallecano in LaLiga was a disappointment as both the teams played a 0-0 draw. After the match, Barca's Lewandowski and Vallecano's Radamel Falcao were spotted in a video protecting a young fan from the security.

The opening game of the LaLiga campaign was a frustrating one for Barcelona as they were held 0-0 by Rayo Vallecano on Saturday. Barcelona captain Sergio Busquets was sent off late in the match as Lewandowski failed to make a mark on the scoresheet in his debut match with the Catalan Giants.

In a viral video, Robert Lewandowski and Radamel Falcao showed a heartwarming gesture as they saved a young fan, who was wearing a Barcelona jersey from security. The Polish striker, who was leaving the ground with a disappointment of not scoring on his Barca debut, took a picture with the fan on his request.

Barcelona registered their new signings including, midfielder Franck Kessie, defender Andreas Christensen and forwards Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha ahead of their opening LaLiga game. To raise funds for registering these players, Barca had sold a 24.5% stake in their audiovisual studio to Orpheus Media for 100 million euros.
