Indian left-arm bowler Radha Yadav provided her team a much-needed breakthrough as she dismissed Aussie captain Meg Lanning in the 11th over of the women's T20 final at the Commonwealth Games 2022. Radha pulled off a brilliant run-out at the non-striker's end to dismiss Lanning.

Australia women won the toss and elected to bat first against India in the CWG 2022 T20 final.

Indian bowler Renuka Singh drew the first blood by dismissing Aussie opener Alyssa Healy in her second and innings' third over. However, opener Beth Mooney (61) destroyed the Indian bowling attack before getting out in the 18th over by Sneh Rana.

While batting first Australia are currently on 87 runs with a loss of two wickets after the end of the 11th over. Team India will look to secure the gold medal against Australia in the inaugural women's T20 event at the CWG.

Moments later on the last ball of the 12th over, Radha Yadav made a direct throw on wickets in an attempt to dismiss Ashleigh Gardner, who scored a brilliant half-century against India in the group stage match. However, the Aussie all-rounder was quick enough to complete the run comfortably.
