The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a tough tournament and to match the pace of the game, players come with high intensity. They give it their all ton win the game for their team. But in the process, injuries also happen. Sunrisers Hyderabad batter, Rahul Tripathi also injured himself while batting in his team's game against Gujarat Titans.

The batter was seen in pain after he hit a six to Rahul Tewatia in the 14th over of SRH innings. After playing the shot, it seemed Tripathi pulled his calf muscle and went down in immense pain. Such was the injury that the batter could not continue batting and had to leave the ground. Nicholas Pooran replaced him in the middle.

Although Rahul Tripathi got retired hurt, it did not cause many effects on SRH's chase. Kane Williamson held one end intact and then scored a brilliant half-century before perishing to a slower ball from Hardik Pandya. Then Nicholas Pooran and Aiden Markram did the formalities as they finished the game with five balls to spare. While Pooran hit an unbeaten 34 off just 18 balls, Markram chipped in with 12* off 8 balls. The duo put up a 39-run partnership for the third wicket to seal the game for their team.

With this win, SRH made two in four matches and also broke Gujarat's winnings streak. Before this game, GT had not lost a single game having defeated Lucknow, Delhi, and Punjab in their first three games.
