Lucknow Super Giants leg-spinner R avi Bishnoi pulled off a magical catch to dismiss the in-form Kane Williamson against the Gujarat Titans. After winning the toss, LSG decided to bat first and fought hard to post a competitive total of 163 with Aussie star Marcus Stoinis scoring 58 while Nicholas Pooran (32 in 22) and Ayush Badoni (20 in 11) ensured a strong finish.

Then in the second innings, LSG were in early trouble with Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharshan scoring quality runs and posting a 54-run stand. But Yash Thakur dismissed Gill with a screamer which led to a mini collapse for GT. After Gill, Kane Williamson attempted to take up the scoring rate as he tried to chip the ball over the bowler's head.

But as the Kiwi lost his shape, the ball looped in the air and here  Ravi Bishnoi showed off brilliant athleticism and pulled off a one-handed stunner. Then in the proceeding over, Bishnoi took a comfortable catch to dismiss Sai Sudharshan which broke the back of the chase for the Titans.

Coming back to the first innings, GT fast bowler Umesh Yadav had an incredible performance as he picked up two wickets in three overs while giving away just 22 runs. Speaking about his effort, Yadav said,  "I have been bowling with the new ball since the start of the tournament, but happy that I got a couple of wickets today. Have been working in the nets, having a word with Ashish Nehra as well, so happy that I executed my plans today."

"If you are accurate in the powerplay, chances of getting wickets is high. Just had to hit the right areas. The wicket is a little spongy, think a little dew has also started to settle in. Think 163 is chaseable."
