After losing their Group A fixture against India, Pakistan displayed a brilliant batting performance in the Super Four stage to clinch the game by five wickets on Sunday.  During the toss, former Indian cricketer and coach Ravi Shastri made a bizarre error as he mixed up Pakistan skipper Babar Azam's call.

Pakistan won the toss and skipper Babar Azam elected to field first. However, Ravi Shastri made a blunder on live television as he misinterpreted Pakistan skipper's call. During the toss, Babar Azam called for Tails as Rohit Sharma tossed the coin but the Indian cricket commentator, Ravi Shastri took it otherwise and said, "Heads is the call."
