Cricketers are celebrities in India, but they are human beings too. They were also a child or a teenager once. So, they also do things that common people do. Although it was rare to spot a few years back, none can deny that it happens. Now, with so many cameras on the ground and with fans on the lookout for things other than cricket, spotting cricketers doing unusual activities is not a rarity anymore.

But still, it feels good to know that the people who have reached such high levels do things like a common man/woman would do. An example of this was seen during the match between India and Zimbabwe. As India captain Rohit Sharma was out in the middle for the toss, the other team members were packing their stuff to head back to the changing room.

It was then R Ashwin did something that left internet users in splits. The Indian off spinner came to pick up his jacked but found two there. Now as he could not differentiate by the looks of it, he had to try something else to find out which one was his. Like any common man in India would do, Ashwin sniffed both jackets and then picked the one which smelled like his.

This small act of Ashwin looked so relatable to internet users that they could not stop themselves from leaving comments on the post. While one of the users found it exceedingly funny, the other said that they also do to differentiate between used and unused clothes.

With the video being shared widely by users, it reached Abhinav Mukund who was also left in splits and asked Ashwin to explain his act. “Watched this video multiple times already. Just cracks me up again and again. @ashwinravi99 pls enlighten us with your logic of picking the right sweater,” tweeted Mukund.

Ashwin was prompt to answer as he replied to Mukund. The cricketer said that he first checked for size, and then checked if it was initialed. However, as he could not still differentiate, he finally checked for the perfume he uses.
