Indian all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin is one of the cleverest cricketers in the world. His game awareness, calm and composed manner has been applauded by many in recent times and his brilliant presence of mind was in display during the game against Pakistan where he let the ball go for a wide when India needed 2 off the final delivery.
The spinner's brilliant game mind was on display again during match against Netherlands where he saved a certain single with a clever fielding. In his final over the batter played a shot straight which was going away from Ashwin's reach. The bowler, however, showed cleverness and put his leg on the way and deflected the ball towards Rohit Sharma who was fielding at close mid-on. The Indian skipper was impressed by Ashwin's tactic and gave a cheeky smile to the bowler.
