Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals were up against each other in the first of the two IPL matches on Saturday. While the match wasn't quite a high-scoring one, opting to bowl first Rajasthan had managed to restrict Delhi to 154. However, one thing that stood out for the cricket lovers was how the last over of the Delhi Capitals innings was executed.

In the final over of the first innings of the match, veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin managed to steal two bonus runs for his side and as he made the most of the chaos in the Rajasthan dugout. Notably, Ash had failed to make contact with Mustafizur Rahman's he ran towards the non-striker's end to somehow steal one. While he would have been miles out had the bowler collected the ball cleanly and dislodged the balls, Rahman instead opted to throw the ball.

The ball though missed the stumps and Ashwin wasn't only able to complete the run but even came back for a couple. The video of the incident is going viral on the Internet.

Check it out here:

Rahman bowled a brilliant final over of the Delhi innings and did not concede a single boundary. He gave away just singles and doubles as Delhi batters managed nine runs off the six balls. While it seemed that Rajasthan could be able to chase the target of 155 runs with ease, that wasn't to be as even the Delhi bowlers were splendid. Anrich Nortje and Ashwin were the pick of the bowlers for the Capitals who now go to the top of the table. While Nortje scalped 2 wickets for 18 runs, Ashwin conceded 20 for 1 wicket. All the other bowlers used managed to take a wicket each.

In the end, Sanju Samson (70*) was pretty much the lone warrior for Rajasthan but despite his innings studded with 8 fours and 1 six, Rajasthan ended up 33 runs short. The Men in Pink lost a wicket in the first over itself and never quite recovered as they lost the wickets in regular intervals. By the time Samson rebuilt the innings and got the measure of the wicket, the required run rate was already rocketing.
