It was absolute carnage from the CSK batting pair of Robin Uthappa and Shivam Dube at the DY Patil Stadium. The duo took every RCB bowler to cleaners as they aggregated 165 runs in just 73 balls. This partnership left RCB bowlers all sweaty and nervy as they kept leaking runs. But the worst thing happened for RCB when Akash Deep bowled an 11-ball over in the match.
Given the responsibility to bowl the 18th over, Akash Deep took 11 balls to complete the over. He gave as many as four wides making it a really long over. After getting hit for two sixes and a four in the first four balls, Akash Deep completely lost his line and bowled four wides. He ended his over by conceding 24 runs.

CSK puts on a show at DY Patil
Such was the performance from CSK batters that RCB bowlers completely lost the plot and conceded 216 runs in 20 overs. Despite starting nervously, CSK took control in the middle overs, courtesy of some sensational batting from Shivam Dube and Robin Uthappa. The duo stitched a 165-run partnership in just 73 balls to keep RCB at bay.
It was raining sixes at the DY Patil Stadium. Both batters hit as many as 17 sixes together in the game. Shivam Dube started the onslaught as he hit two gigantic sixes off Glenn Maxwell and Wanindu Hasarnga. He turned the tables for CSK with his sensational batting. Although he missed on his maiden IPL century, his batting effort was a show-stealer. Dube scored 95 off 46 balls.
Dube found a perfect partner in Robin Uthappa who brought all his experience to the fore. He started slow but as soon as the pressure was on RCB bowlers, he capitalized on it. Uthappa scored 88 off 50 balls with the help of nine sixes.
