Rinki Rajak presented another dimension to her batting as she scored 51* off 27 in Match 6 of the Pondicherry Women T10 2023. In the ongoing T10 series, Queens Women clashed with Princess Women in the sixth fixture on June 8, Thursday. The game saw Queens Women emerging victorious, all thanks to the brilliant show put up by the 24-year-old cricketer, which helped her team secure the win by 12 runs over their rivals. 

The game started off with the Queens’ skipper Sonal Patil winning the toss and opting to bat. Coming to open the innings for her team, Rinki Rajak remained on crease till the end and pulled up a score of 51* off 27 deliveries, hitting 4 fours and 3 sixes. Her brilliant knock helped her side pull up a score of 92 at the loss of three wickets. The team put up a great show in the second innings as well, restricting their opponents at 80, and finished the match at 8th over.

Securing a win in their first clash of the Cricket Association of Pondicherry (CAP)'s Pondicherry Women’s T10 Tournament 2023, Queens Women have secured second spot in the standings. Talking about the tournament, it features four teams, Angels, Diamonds, Princess, and Queens, who will compete in the league matches from June 6 to June 11. The finale of the 2023 edition is scheduled to take place on June 12, Monday.
