The 15th match of IPL 2022 is underway at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. Rishabh Pant's Delhi Capitals are up against KL Rahul's Lucknow Super Giants. In a battle of two future Indian captains, KL Rahul is enjoying an upper hand having restricted Pant and Co. to a par total. But DC are in no mood to give it up easily as they are putting up a fight with some tight bowling.
With only 149 on the board to defend, Rishabh Pant and the boys are giving their best to stop every single run. Some tight fielding has kept things alive for Delhi Capitals. However, an injury concern also rocked the DC camp with the captain injuring himself while trying to stop a throw from David Warner.
In the 13th over of the LSG innings, Quinton de Kock steered a ball from Anrich Nortje towards the sweeper cover region. David Warner came charging at the ball but failed to collect it cleanly. However, he tried to recover and stop the batters from sneaking the second run and thus threw the ball at full pace. Rishabh Pant who was standing close to the stumps got in an awkward position and got hit on his fingers while trying to collect the ball.

Problems for DC?
Although Pant continued keeping wickets, he seemed in a lot of pain and had to be assisted by the physio. The DC management will hope it is nothing serious as it's only the start of the tournament. Pant needs to be in form and fit if Delhi have to reach the playoffs. They have now lost two games back-to-back. Their batting seems to be a bit of a problem. Other than Prithvi Shaw, no other batter could really find the middle of the bat.
