Brazil sealed its qualification into the Round of 16 with a scrappy 1-0 win over Switzerland in Group G. After over 80-minutes of deadlock, Casemiro smashed a scintillating goal to give the Seleção Canarinho the lead and clinch the game with ease. But a moment after the game, involving a Brazilian player won many hearts on the internet.
After the match, football legend Ronaldo Nazario interviewed one of Brazil’s most exciting and talented players Rodrygo. In the interview, O Fenômeno asked the young Real Madrid about his experience at the World Cup and also discussed his role in the Brazilian team. But what happened towards the end of the chat, has gone viral.
As the interview ended, Rodrygo shared a handshake with the two-time FIFA World Cup before leaning over and brushing his legs. The Ballon d'Or winner looked confused but was in amusement when Rodrygo rubbed his legs.

Many have speculated that with this gesture the youngster hopes to acquire O Fenômeno’s godly ability going ahead in the World Cup. Going back to Casemiro, the Manchester United midfielder had an incredible performance against Switzerland with a passing accuracy of 85% with one block, five interceptions and six recoveries.
Reacting to the game, Casemiro stated the importance of his team’s performance in an important game. He praised his teammates and said, “I believe it’s important, regardless of the goal, to assist the team. We all win together and we all lose together. I got man-of-the-match, but this is a group. My first objective is to support the players at the back and try to put out fires.”
