Former Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma ditched team bus to travel in his latest Range Rover ahead of the IPL 2024 clash against Rajasthan Royals. However, it was his special number plate that caught the attention of his fans and cricket enthusiasts across the globe. Mumbai Indians are set to lock horns with Rajasthan Royals in their first home game of the season on April 1 at the iconic Wankhede Stadium.

Ahead of the first home clash, Sharma opted to leave the team bus and travelled to the travel to stadium in his Range Rover Autobiography. What caught everyone’s attention was his number plate with a special number, 264. Notably, the number holds a special place in the Indian skipper’s life as it is his highest ODI score, which he scored against Sri Lanka on November 13, 2014.

Not only this but with the score, Sharma recorded his name in history with the highest-ever individual ODI score. Interestingly, even after almost a decade of heroics, he continues to hold the record.

Coming back to the IPL 2024, Rajasthan Royals are currently maintaining an unbeaten streak of two matches. Mumbai Indians, on the flip side, haven’t been able to open their win account yet and currently sit in the bottom-most spot of the standings. In the upcoming match, they will aim to make a comeback in the tournament.
