After the first match of the day between Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings was called off with rain playing a spoilsport, Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians are locking horns in the second match of the second match of double-header Wednesday at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali.
A hilarious turn of events unfolded at the toss in this match as Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan took the field. After the coin toss, Rohit Sharma who won the toss asked his counterpart Shikhar Dhawan what should he opt for. Sharma, revealed when Anjum Chopra asked what the two skippers were talking, and MI skipper informed that he asked Dhawan what they should opt for.
“I asked Shikhar Dhawan what to do. He said bowl first, so we bowl first,” said Rohit Sharma.

Talking about the previous fixture when these two teams locked horns last time at the Wankhede Stadium, Punjab Kings pulled off a stunning win in a low-scoring last ball thriller. Sam Curran finished as the Player of the Match with Punjab Kings winning the match by 13 runs.
