Rohit Sharma-led India faced a defeat in their last T20I against South Africa as they were beaten by 49 runs by Proteas. After conceding a massive 227/3 in 20 overs, India were bundled out for 178 as most of their batters failed to put on a decent performance. However, there were a few really impactful performances as well.

Wicketkeeper batter Dinesh Karthik put on a show as he scored a brisk 46 off just 21 balls. Sent in to bat at No.4, Karthik made the most of the opportunity and made full use of the powerplay as he smashed four boundaries and as many sixes in his inning. India made a decent recovery after losing two quick wickets on the back of this performance from Karthik.

Nevertheless, he too fell while trying to play a reverse swipe against Keshav Maharaj and India lost the contest eventually. But as the Men inn Blue had already claimed the series, there were not many signs of worry in the Indian camp. In fact, players seemed pretty relaxed after the game. Karthik too was seen having fun with Rohit Sharma who he calls a dear friend.

The two players were seen having a laugh after the match ended. In one of the videos of the two goofing around, Sharma was also seen hitting Karthik on his back. The clip seems to be from the moment when India lost the contest and the players were walking out to shake hands. As Karthik walked out ahead of Sharma, he muttered something. Rohit then hit Karthik on the back with his fist.

In another shared by BCCI, Sharma and Karthik were seen having a big laugh about one of the incidents from the match.
