Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was left in disbelief after star batter Virat Kohli opted not to review his dismissal against Bangladesh. India were clashing against Bangladesh in the first Test of the two-match series at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. India were once again on to the pitch after bundling out their rivals for 149 within 48 overs in the first innings. The hosts, who had got a lead of 227 runs, opened their second innings with a hope of further extending the gap.
However, contrary to home crowd’s expectations, Rohit Sharma and Co. went on to lose both the openers within seven overs. Not only this, but batting icon Virat Kohli was also involved in a bizarre dismissal which left everyone including Sharma in disbelief. Kohli was batting on 17 when he was involved in an lbw dismissal by Mehidy Hasan Miraz. The batter was given out by the umpire and he decided against the review. However, the review showed inside edge, which would have saved him had he taken a review. The incident left everyone, including Sharma in disappointment and his reaction went viral in no time.
