The start of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is just some days away and we have some teams already reaching Australia in time for the event. Rohit Sharma-led Team India has also departed for Australia to take part in the marquee event, scheduled to start on October 16.

The Men in Blue left for Australia this morning (October 6), however the 15th member of the squad is still unknown. The team left for Australia with only 14 members as they are yet to announce the replacement of pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah.

Check out the video here:

Talking about Jasprit Bumrah, the pacer was ruled out of the tournament with a back stress fracture which he suffered last month. Mohammad Shami is the frontrunner to take Bumrah’s place in the side, but the final decision will be taken once he fulfils the fitness test at the NCA, Bengaluru.

Apart from them, the likes of Shreyas Iyer, Deepak Chahar, Ravi Bishnoi along with Shami will travel to Australia next week after the conclusion of ODI series against South Africa. Additionally, Umran Malik, Mohammed Siraj, Chetan Sakariya, Mukesh Choudhary are few other names who are set to travel to Australia with them.
