Defending champion India Legends is up against Sri Lanka Legends in the summit clash of the second season of the Road Safety World Series at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur on September 01 (Saturday). After India Legends skipper Sachin Tendulkar opted to bat first, defending champions had a horrific start to their quest to defend the title.

Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar along with Naman Ojha started the proceedings for India Legends hoping to provide a solid foundation to the side, but Sri Lankan Legends' right-arm pacer Nuwan Kulasekara struck early, removing the Indian Legends captain in the first over itself.  Tendulkar was clean bowled for a duck on a beautiful bowl from the Sri Lankan new-ball bowler.

While Sachin took a hard long walk to the dugout, the Sri Lankan pacer opened his arms to celebrate the prized wicket of the Indian legend.

The Sri Lankan pacer didn't stop there but he blew away India Legends by dismissing Suresh Raina (4 off 2) in the third over of the match. When Suresh Raina got dismissed, India Legends was reeling at 19/2 in 3 overs. However, the partnership between Naman Ojha and Vinay Kumar has steadied the ship for India Legends.
