Sri Lankan all-rounder Sadeera Samarawickrama brought out Virat Kohli's celebration after scoring a century against Pakistan in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. Batting first, the Lankans put forth a stunning effort with Kusal Mendis scoring a stunning century. As Mendis departed after his 122, Samarawickrama carried the innings forward.
Taking on Pakistani bowling, Sadeera Samarawickrama emerged as the perfect accelerator as he scored all around the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. After hitting two sixes and 11 fours, Sadeera completed his ton in the 47th over. After pulling Hasan Ali towards square leg and reaching the milestone, Samarawickrama replicated Virat Kohli's 'let the bat talk' celebration.
