The match between Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals kicked off on Saturday with the latter opting to bowl first after winning the toss at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi. The decision was soon proven right by the RR bowlers as DC could only score 36 runs in the powerplay that too at the loss of two wickets. Shikhar Dhawan was first to perish, courtesy of an unlucky dismissal where he played the ball on his stumps, while Prithvi Shaw followed him to the pavilion in a bid to boost the run rate.
The pressure kept piling on DC skipper Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer who were at the crease. The two put up handy contributions to stitch a 62-run partnership for the third wicket before the southpaw could only chop a short pitch ball on his stumps while trying to take on Mustafizur Rahman. However, the best of the moments was yet to come.
In a bid to boost the scoring rate, Iyer tried to hit a Rahul Tewatia delivery for a biggie. However, the batsman failed to read Tewatia's bowling hand and premeditated to go for a hit on the leg side. What Tewatia bowled was an orthodox leg-spin and consequently, Iyer ended up missing the ball completely. Even though the ball turned close to the wide line, wicketkeeper Samson didn't miss out on the opportunity and effected a brilliant stumping to see Iyer losing his wicket by a bare margin.

Mustafizur, Sakariya take 2 wickets each as RR limit DC to 154/6
Mustafizur Rahman (2/22) and Chetan Sakariya (2/33) were the star performers for Rajasthan Royals on Saturday as the side stopped Delhi Capitals to an average score of 154/6. Kartik Tyagi (1/40) and Rahul Tewatia (1/27) claimed the rest of the wickets fallen in the innings. Meanwhile, for the batting side, Shreyas Iyer (43 off 32) top-scored with Shimron Hetmyer (28 off 16) being second on the list. Axar Patel's 12 off 7 balls also helped DC's cause as other batsmen failed to deliver.
