At the close of play on day three of the Duleep Trophy 2024 match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, India B solidified their position against India A, finding themselves 240 runs ahead with their second innings score reading 150/6. After taking a lead of 90 runs in the first innings, India B didn’t have a great start in the second innings as they lost three wickets for just 22 runs. Following that, Sarfaraz Khan and Rishabh Pant took the innings further with a 72-run partnership in a quick succession.
After failing to get a big score in the first innings, Sarfaraz Khan showed great form in the second innings, scoring 46 runs off 36 balls with seven fours and a six. During his quick-fire knock, Sarfaraz smashed five consecutive fours in the 10th over of the innings against Akash Deep, bringing the fans in attendance on their feat. However, he was dismissed by Avesh Khan after adding just four runs to his half-century.

India B look to set a big target for India A in Duleep Trophy clash
India B finished day three of the Duleep Trophy clash with a big lead of 240 runs against India A at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Notably, after a disastrous start in the first innings, India B went on to put up a total of 321 runs, thanks to the epic knock of 181 runs by the teenager Musheer Khan. After that, their bowlers also did a great job by bundling India A out for 231 runs, to take a lead of 90 runs in the first innings.
Coming to bat in the second innings, Rishabh Pant is the top scorer with 61(47) runs thus far as India B scored 150/6 at the end of play on day three. Now, India B will be looking to add more runs to the total and set a big target for India A to start their tournament with a win after India C defeated India D in the other Duleep Trophy fixture at the Rural Development Trust Stadium in Anantpur.
