Shah Rukh Khan teaches Virat Kohli steps to 'Jhoome Jo Pathan' after KKR vs RCB in IPL 2023, video goes viral

The two-time champions pulled off a stellar 81-run victory.

Shah Rukh Khan was seen teaching Virat Kohli steps to 'Jhoome Jo Pathan' After the ninth IPL 2023 match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore. The two-time champions pulled off a stellar 81-run victory.

After being put into bat, Kolkata Knight Riders were struggling at 89-5 when Shardul Thakur and Rinku Singh, stitched up a massive 103-run partnership to take their score to 204. Then it was the Kolkata spinner, who turned the game around in their favour as they claimed nine out of the 10 wickets, helping the two-time IPL champions register a win by 81 runs. 

But after the game, as both teams came together for the post-match presentation,  Shah Rukh Khan and  Virat Kohli were seen interacting together. Moments later, the pair was seen emulating the steps of   Jhoome Jo Pathan'.

But in the presence of these pop culture icons, Shardul Thakur was the true star as he scored an incredible counter-attacking knock of 68 in 29 balls with nine fours and three sixes. Thakur received the Player of the Match award and expressed joy and elation for this result in post-game presentation.

In the post-match ceremony, He talked about the efforts from his training helped him avoid taking up excessive pressure and play freely. He said,  "I don't even know where it came from but looking at the scorecard at that time, everyone would have thought we are struggling. But your subconscious mind takes over. You also have to have skills to do that at the higher level, but we also work hard in the nets. There is a period where we can slog it in the nets."

"Coaching staff do the throwdowns, and give us the option of range-hitting. And you know the pitches - they always suit the batsmen, don't they? Suyash bowled exceptionally well, and we know the quality Sunil and Varun have. They have fun, take wickets. This was a perfect day," he further continued.
