Ravindra Jadeja recently became the No. 1 ICC ranked all-rounder in Test cricket, following his heroic show in Mohali against Sri Lanka. The 33-year-old scored 175* in the first innings and took 9 wickets, proving once again why he is considered a nightmare for the opposition with both bat and ball in hand.

While his explosives with the bat is known to everyone, it is his incredible knack of bowling perfect line and length with that simple action. This has been one of the key reasons behind Jadeja's success over the years, but what if the cricketer had another big asset in his armoury?

Shaheen Jadeja in action ahead of Karachi Test

Have you ever wondered what would Jadeja's bowling look like if his release point goes upwards by a few more inches? Well, fans got a glimpse of the same on Friday when Shaheen Shah Afridi, whose height is 6 ft 5 inches, recreated the left-arm spin bowling action of Ravindra Jadeja, whose height is 5 ft 8 inches.

Are you watching, Australia?

As pointed out in the tweet, Shaheen's bowling was indeed a carbon copy of Jadeja's action including the bounce in the hair. The fans were left absolutely stunned to see the sheer resemblance and started to wonder if the current ICC ranked No. 4 bowler in Tests is adding another variation to his game ahead of the 2nd Test against Australia in Karachi.

The Aussie batsmen, who have struggled against Jadeja in past, will certainly need to be cautious of the same. If Shaheen decides to switch to spin bowling in Karachi, things could get extremely tricky and interesting.
