His generous nature was on show once again as O’Neal visited a Home Depot store and gifted a family a washing machine and a dryer.
The 51-year-old was on a visit to a Home Depot store where he encountered two women who were shopping for a washer and dryer. O’Neal approached them and asked them what they were looking for and they replied that they were planning to buy a washing machine and a dryer. When the two women told him their plan, he offered to buy the appliances for them on the spot after which the women immediately shed some happy tears. The women blessed the former basketball player and repeatedly expressed their gratitude.
The heartwarming moment was captured on video and shared on social media, where it has gone viral. Many people praised the former basketball player for his generosity and humility and called him a role model.
