The wedding season has been going strong in the Indian men’s team as several players have gotten married over the last few months. The new addition to this list is the fast bowler Shardul Thakur, who is set to tie the knot with his fiance Mitali Parulkar on February 27.
Enjoying his haldi ceremony, Thakur was seen dancing to the famous Marathi song ‘Zingaat’ with his friends and family members, whose video is going viral on social media. Shardul Thakur and Mitali Parulkar are good friends and have known each other for a long time.

The couple got engaged in the 2021 and were set to get married after the T20 World Cup 2022 held in October last year. But the ceremony was postponed from this date. Around 200 to 250 guests will attend the wedding and the ceremony will take place in Mumbai.
After the wedding, Shardul Thakur will rejoin the Indian squad for the three-game ODI series against Australia. The series will kick off on March 18 with the first match in Mumbai. The second ODI will be played in Vizag on March 19 before the series concludes on March 22 in Chennai.
