A stampede-like situation broke out in Hyderabad when hundreds of people queued up to get a hand on tickets for the third T20I between India and Australia. As the crowd kept coming in, the local police had to deploy troops to get the situation under control.

The video of the incident went viral. Notably, India and Australia are scheduled to play a T20I match on Sunday (25 September) at the Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Stadium in the city.

As per reports, four people were injured severely in this chaotic scene, due to the pushing and shoving. The police said that the injured were taken to the hospital and are in good condition now. Notably, hundreds of people gathered to get their hands on the fast-selling tickets for the third T20I between India and Australia. However, the situation got out of control when people started pushing each other.

In no time, it turned into a total mess with the local police having to barge in. People were lathi-charged to bring the situation to normal. A couple of days back, a large queue was seen at the Gymkhana ground for the same reason.
