Indian football team captain, Sunil Chhetri and Royal Challengers Bangalore star, Virat Kohli have always shared a friendly bond. Not only this, the former also shares a special bond with the city as he plays for Bengaluru FC in the Indian Super League.
The Indian football team skipper, Chhetri was seen in the RCB jersey as he took a keen interest in the training session of the players ahead of their IPL 2023 opener. The football star also showed off his fielding skills, and stunned Bangalore players by taking a flying catch.

Faf du Plessis-led franchise shared a glimpse of Sunil Chhetri’s visit on Twitter, labelling it as a “cross-culture of sports.” The caption read, “Indian football captain and legend Sunil Chhetri dropped by at the Chinnaswamy to watch RCB practice, and spent time with Virat Kohli and the boys.”
RCB is all set to begin their IPL 2023 campaign on April 2 (Sunday) against the five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians. While the team (RCB) that stood fourth last year, will look forward to clinching their first title, whereas Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians will look to forget their last season outing and aim to start afresh.
