Indian captain for the T20I series against Australia, Suryakumar Yadav smashed a scintilating 32-ball half-century at the Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam. Bowling first, the Indian bowlers had a poor performance with Australia managing to post their second-highest T20I total of 208 against India.

The architect of this batting effort was Josh Inglis, who scored his maiden international century and ended up with a total of 110 in 50 balls with 11 fours and eight sixes. Chasing this total, India, despite a few quick runs, were two down at 22 in 2.3 overs.

From this point ahead, the Mumbai Indians' stars Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav took charge and smashed the Aussie bowlers all around the park. The duo posted a 112-run stand when Kishan departed at 58 in 39 balls.
Despite the wicket, SKY held one end as he continued his batting carnage and reached his 50 with a massive six. The Indian captain nearly finished off the game as he got out in the 18th over after scoring 80 in 41 balls with nine fours and four sixes as needed just 12 runs.
