After winning their Asia Cup 2022 opener against Pakistan, Team India are facing the likes of Hong Kong in their second fixture of the group stage at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. During India's batting, Suryakumar Yadav smashed an unorthodox scoop shot that resulted into a massive six.
In the 16th over, SKY smashed Aizaz Khan of Hong Kong for an unorthodox six on the fourth ball of the over. Surya moved to the off side and leaned down and scooped a stunning six over the wicket-keeper's head.
After the end of 20 overs, Indian batters Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav scored a 98-run partnership to take Team India's total at 192 runs with a loss of two wickets. Indian openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul opened the innings well but failed to score big against Hong Kong as the Indian skipper was dismissed at 21 runs while the vice-captain played a slower inning and scored 36 off 39 balls.
