During his latest appearance on The Tonight Show, hosted by Jimmy Fallon, The Rock was promoting WrestleMania XL alongside his fellow Bloodline member and the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns. The Final Boss, as he calls himself in the WWE, made a Star Wars reference, likening Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins to Luke Skywalker and Joker respectively.
In the main event of night one of WWE WrestleMania XL at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, The Rock and Roman Reigns are scheduled to team up for the first time, to take on Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in a blockbuster tag match. If Rock and Reigns win, then the main event on night two of WrestleMania, wherein Roman Reigns is scheduled to defend his WWE Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes, will be contested under Bloodline rules, where anything goes.
However, if Rhodes and Rollins emerge victorious, then the championship match on the next night will not have any involvement from the Bloodline.
With just days remaining until WWE WrestleMania XL, The Rock and Roman Reigns were the guests at The Tonight Show, where the Final Boss spoke about their nemesis and said, “For those of you who may not know, Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, they are both bad-asses in their own right. I liken Cody Rhodes to Luke Skywalker and Seth Rollins to the Joker. So these guys are really unique kind of crazy guys.”
“But also at the end of the day, as my cousin (Roman Reigns) was saying, there can only be one. And when there is only one, you have the Tribal Chief and the Final Boss, and when the Final Boss….,” added The Rock.
Moreover, this past Monday Night on WWE Raw, The Rock alongside Roman Reigns delivered a savage beating to Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, hitting them mercilessly with a weight belt, which bore the “American Nightmare” catchphrase.
