Hours after it was confirmed that Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan will feature in a Bollywood movie, the trailer of the film starring Sonakshi Singh and Huma Qureshi in lead roles has been made live. The Indian opening batter, who led the team in the ODI series against South Africa, was seen in the initial seconds of the trailer itself featuring as a cricketer.
From what can be gauged from the trailer of Double XL, the movie is about two women body shamed by society, who dare to dream big, despite all the hindrances that society put in place for them. The movie traces their journey as they set out to chase those dreams.
"A story of friendship and dreams filled with masti is coming in cinemas near you on 4th Nov 2022," says the description of the 3 minute and 3 second long video. The movie is being helmed by Satramm Ramani.

Meanwhile, Dhawan-led India beat South Africa 2-1 in the ODI series. While the focus will now shift towards the T20 World Cup, Dhawan is not part of the national team in the shortest format and will continue to be in contention for a place in the ODIs in the build-up to the ODI World Cup next year in India.
