India have absolutely outplayed Sri Lanka in what has been a special Test for Virat Kohli, who's playing his 100th Test of an illustrious career. While Ravindra Jadeja has been the star performer for home side with his heroic all-round show, Kohli has also been in the thick of things throughout the contest. It all started with him being presented with a special cap from coach Rahul Dravid in a heartwarming felicitation ceremony before the start of match.

It was then followed by Kohli playing an impressive knock in the middle. The right-handed batsman hit some glorious boundaries to put on a show on Day 1, but his innings ended at score of 45. Although it was a disappointing end to his innings, the 33-year-old ensured that it was not the conclusion of Kohli show in Mohali.

Kohli and Crowd - The best combination on cricket field

He was given an amazing guard of honour as India came to bowl in the 1st innings and despite him not being the captain of team anymore, Kohli's incredible passion stole the show. He was continuously involved with the fans, asking the Mohali crowd to keep making noise and cheering for the team.

A video clip is now going viral on internet which reflects Kohli's highlights from having some fun on the field to his incredible engagement with fans.

What an incredible moment in Mohali!

Another clip from the ground is surfacing where Kohli is seen standing at 1st slip, with his hands up in the air, asking crowd to keep clapping when Bumrah is bowling. The netizens are now sharing the same on social media, with some of them hailing him as box-office in Test cricket.

It was indeed amazing to see Kohli enjoying his time in Mohali while continuing to make fans feel a part of the game. BCCI's decision to allow crowd inside the stadium for 1st Test did prove to be a perfect one, as Kohli is someone who drives energy from fans.
