Virat Kohli was the talk of town in Mohali for last few days as he was playing his 100th Test match of an illustrious career. BCCI made a last-minute call to allow fans inside the IS Bindra Stadium and it turned out to be the right call as fans got to witness some incredible moment on the field during India vs Sri Lanka Test match.

While Ravindra Jadeja starred with bat and ball, it was Kohli who entertained the crowd with his on-field antics. From asking everyone to make noise to doing the Pushpa trend, the 33-year-old did everything that supporters wanted from him. And after the match, he also fulfilled the wish of India's unofficial 12th man by gifting him his national jersey before going into the team bus.

Who is India's unofficial 12th man?

Dharamveer Pal is known as India's unofficial 12th man for his mad passion and craze about national cricket team. Despite being polio-infected, he never lets his physical disability come in his way while supporting Team India. Just like Sudhir, the famous Indian fan, Dharamveer is also known to many national players who have often met him in past.

Few years back, Yuvraj Singh had also met Dharamveer and talked about him. He said, "A physically challenged child has so much passion for the game, so we must help him. He always comes to see our matches, it’s nice to help the child."

He is also the captain of his home state team (Madhya Pradesh) which plays in tournaments organized by the All India Cricket Association for the Physically Challenged. "Cricket is the reason for my living," says a tattoo on left arm of Dharamveer, which is a pure reflection of his love and passion for game.

Kohli makes Dharamveer's day in Mohali

On Sunday, after India's comprehensive win against Sri Lanka by an innings and 222 runs, Virat Kohli saw Dharamveer while walking towards his team bus and presented him with Indian jersey as a memorabilia for him.

He shared the video on his Facebook account and wrote, "Thank you so much champion you will always my champion may god bless you you are inspired many more years, Virat Kohli"

During an interview with Indian Express in 2017, Dharamveer Pal had revealed, "I was fine up to the age of 8 months, but I did not get proper polio doses around that time and both my legs got affected."

"Ever since 2004, I have been involved with the game. I know all the players and they have been really friendly and nice to me. From Sachin paaji, MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Virat Kohli, Virender Sehwag. I know most of them and have been helped by them," he added.
