The IPL 2023 fixture between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals witnessed a heated moment between RCB star Virat Kohli and DC director of cricket Sourav Ganguly. Kohli was the top performer in the game as he smashed another brilliant half-century and helped the Bangalore-based franchise to post 174. 


Then with the ball, Royal Challengers brought their a-game and restricted the Capitals to the score of 151 and registered a 23-run win. In this second innings, as per multiple social media users, Kohli was spotted giving Ganguly a death stare. This incident occurred at the 17.3-over mark when Virat took the catch dismissing Aman Hakim Khan. After completing the catch, the Indian batter was seen eyeing Sourav Ganguly, who was sitting at the DC dugout.

Going back to the game, Kohli gave RCB an incredible start as went on to hit six fours and one six reaching the 50-milestone. This was also his third half-century in four games for Bangalore as he has scored 214 runs at an average of 71.33 so far in the IPL. The knock also places him behind David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan in the orange cap race, given to the highest run scorer of the season
