The ongoing 2nd Test between India and Sri Lanka has already delivered so much action, drama and entertainment. After Rohit Sharma-led side managed to post 252 in 59.1 overs before being bundled out on Day 1, Sri Lankan batters failed to impress with bat as the combination of Mohammaed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah turned out to be lethal for the Sri Lankan batters. The duo inflicted three dismissals in the first six overs itself to put the visitors on the backfoot.
Earlier, Shreyas Iyer played a match-saving knock in the 1st innings by scoring 92 in 98 balls after Indian batters struggled to consolidate the innings. While opening, Mayank Agarwal (4 off 7) and Rohit Sharma (15 off 25) could not provide a solid start to the side and were dismissed after adding 29-runs on board. Lot was expected from India's former skipper Virat Kohli who plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore. This was because the prolific batter was returning to Bengaluru after a long time. However, he could only contribute 23 runs off 48 deliveries.
Despite his failure with the bat, Kohli was his active field on the self, playing with the crowd and even imitating Jasprit Bumrah's action, much to their amusement. While Indian players were waiting for Lankan batters to take crease, Kohli took the opportunity to enact Bumrah's run up, leaving his teammates in splits. Watching Kohli doing Bumrah's unique bowling action and imitating his run-up left the bowler laughing and having a light moment before Sri Lanka's batting kicked off.

Four years back, then India's skipper Virat Kohli tried to imitate Jasprit Bumrah's bowling style during a practice session in the World Cup 2019. The video of the same was shared by the International Cricket Council (ICC), with a caption which said, "Imitation from the captain is the best form of flattery".
Speaking of match, Indian bowlers have gotten into a lethal mode in front of Lankan batters as Sri Lanka is reeling at 86/6 at the end of Day 1. The touring contingent is still trailing India's first innings total by 166 runs.
