Virat Kohli, the Indian cricket superstar, finally made a public appearance with his wife and Bollywood actress Anushkha Sharma after controversy surrounding Avneet Kaur, who is an actress in her own right. The power couple were spotted going out for a dinner date, reportedly at the Lupa Restaurant in Bengaluru on Tuesday, May 6, but the video is still doing the rounds because of Anushka Sharma apparently ignoring Virat Kohli as speculated by the fans.
Notably, Virat Kohli took to his official Instagram account to post a clarification about how there was a like “mistakenly” registered on his behalf on a post concerning Avneet Kaur from a fan account. His clarification on the matter read, “I'd like to clarify that while clearing my feed, it appears the algorithm may have mistakenly registered an interaction. There was absolutely no intent behind it. I request that no unnecessary assumptions be made. Thank you for your understanding.”

It led to the fans not only trolling Virat Kohli, but also bringing his married status with Anuskha Sharma into question, overblowing the situation to no end. Amid that, a fan account of the Indian cricketing superstar named “virat_kohli_18_club” (@KohliSensation), shared a video of the power couple making a public appearance, and the caption read, “Virat Kohli & Anushka Sharma seen at Lupa Restaurant in MG Road, Bengaluru.”

In the short clip, when Virat Kohli was waiting by the car door for Anushka Sharma, she stepped out without taking his waiting hand, instead rushing into the restaurant with him following her. This has led to the fans speculating a lot of things, especially in regards to the recent Avneet Kaur controversy, but since they haven’t addressed it, there is nothing to it as of yet.
Moreover, Virat Kohli and Anushkha Sharma, who were married in December 2017, are parents to daughter Vamika and son Akaay.
