Indian skipper Virat Kohli is undoubtedly one of the most hard-working batsmen in world cricket. The 32-year-old is an amazing reader of the game and is someone who tries to improve his game every day. There is a reason why Kohli has been able to produce such consistent performances all over the years. The fans witnessed one of those moments on Friday which differentiates him from all the other batsmen.

Watchful Kohli - The artist of cricket

While the Indian skipper has been in scintillating form off late as he smashed his 5th half century in last 6 outings against England. While there is hardly any weakness in Kohli's game, he has had few struggles against leg-spin bowling in recent times. Adil Rashid got the better of him twice in the T20I series and Virat has been very cautious in his approach against him. But, there was one moment on Friday that left the fans completely amazed as to how much the Indian skipper wants to improve.

The broadcasters were quick to share a clip where Kohli can be seen closely observing Rashid's release point while standing at the non-striker's end. On the other hand, KL Rahul doesn't really do the same. It just reflects an extraordinary work ethic of Indian skipper, considering he wanted to know every single detail about the bowler who has been troubling him for some time.

Unfortunately, Kohli was dismissed on 66 off Adil Rashid only. But there was certainly lot to learn for young cricketers from one of the best batsmen to ever grace the game. During his knock, the Indian skipper also became only the second cricketer to score more than 10,000 runs, batting at No.3 in ODI cricket. Notably, Virat Kohli has now joined former Australia captain Ricky Ponting in that remarkable list.
