Virat Kohli is back and he is back with a bang. The former India captain showed what he has got against Hong Kong as he scored a half-century on a pitch that was not easy to bat on. Kohli got to his half-century in 40 balls. Kohli did take some time to settle in but once he had his eyes set, it was a delight for his fans. The batter played shots all around the ground in his inning. He hit two sixes before reaching the 50-run mark and both came off the middle of the bat.
While he hit the first six against the leg spinner, Kohli broke free against right-arm quick Aizaz Khan to garner his second six. The batter then nudged a few deliveries for singles and doubles before eventually getting to his half-century. Although there has been so much talk about his form, the batter did not celebrate aggressively. He casually lifted his bat and acknowledged the applause from his teammates and supporters.
