The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Unbox event held at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Tuesday, unveiled their new jersey and logo ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. However, former Indian skipper Virat Kohli's presence at the events garnered all the attention as the crowd went berserk during his presentation while the 35-year-old also spoke a few words in Kannada.
While RCB unveiled their new logo, the Bengaluru-based franchise also released their new jersey ahead of the highly-anticipated IPL 2024. The jersey followed its red theme, however, the RCB ditched the colour black this time for blue on the chest, incorporated with a golden lion badge of the team.

Former RCB captain Virat Kohli received a warm reception from the Chinnaswamy crowd as they went berserk on the Indian stalwart's appearance on the stage. Kohli began by saying, "It's lovely to be back", and the fans began screaming at the top of their lungs. After not letting the King speak for half a minute, the crowd eventually calmed down as Kohli said, "Guys, we need to get to Chennai pretty quickly tonight. We have a chartered flight, so we don't have much time."

In a viral video on social media, Kohli appeared to reciprocate the vibes of the home fans by speaking Kannada. Virat said, "I just wanna let everyone know - 'Idu RCB Hosa Adhyaya'." This can be translated to, "This is a new chapter for RCB."
