A day after addressing the media in a virtual press conference, Virat Kohli and Co were set to leave for Johannesburg on 16th December for their tour against South Africa starting from 26th December. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video of their journey, where players can be seen sharing some light moments with each other.

"From Mumbai to Jo'Burg! Capturing #TeamIndia's journey to South Africa," the BCCI captioned the video. In the video, Test skipper Virat Kohli looked in a fun mood as he teased Ishant Sharma.

In the video, Virat says that Ishant is ready to travel anywhere in the world as long he has the suitcase with him. The pacer then requests him not to tease him in the morning.

Team India will miss their newly appointed Test vice-captain Rohit Sharma, who was ruled out of the series owing to a hamstring injury. He has been replaced by Gujarat's Priyank Panchal. Meanwhile, India will also be without their two premier left-arm spinners in Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel for the Test series.

Lately, team India has been under the scanner for the kind of changes it has seen in the team management and leading roles. BCCI went on to announce that Rohit Sharma will lead the squad in T20 and ODIs, while Virat Kohli remained captain for the longest format.

India is set to play the first Test in Johannesburg on December 26.
