Team India registered a dominant win in the 1 st T20I against South Africa on Wednesday. Arshdeep and Suryakumar Yadav were stars with bowl and bat, respectively as India takes the 1-0 lead in the three match T20I series. On a pitch, which was tailor made for seamers, Team India reduced SA to 9-5 in the first 4 overs. Wayne Parnell and Keshav Maharaj salvage some pride for the Proteas as they together took SA to 106.
In reply, Team India also had a disastrous start as they lost Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in quick succession but KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav took the charge and led the team over the line. After the game, Virat Kohli was seen talking with wife Anushka Sharma on a video call while sitting on team bus.
The crowd chanted Kohli…Kohli and then the former Indian skipper showed the reception of crowd to Anushka. After catching the glimpse of the Bollywood actress, the crowd went berserk as they kept on shouting Kohli’s name.

India will play the 2 nd T20I on October 2 at Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati. Jasprit Bumrah, who didn’t play the first T20I due to back injury, is likely to return in the Playing XI.
