The match number 16 in IPL 2021 between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore got off to one of the most hilarious starts in the history of the tournament. As the two captains got set for the toss at the iconic Wankhede stadium, something happened that left the fans in splits.

Kohli's toss comedy continues

Whenever Virat Kohli is at the toss, there is certainly some drama that the fans can always expect. As the coin was flipped by the RCB skipper on Thursday, his counterpart Sanju Samson called for 'tails'. The match referee confirmed that it was 'heads' and pointed towards Kohli. The two captains did a fist pump but surprisingly the RR skipper came ahead and Kohli's reflexive reaction was to go back.

Ian Bishop, who was the presenter, was also left confused and could not understand what was happening. It took a couple of seconds for Virat to realize that he had actually won the toss as both the captain had a hearty laugh. The 32-year-old was completely honest and hilariously admitted, "I'm not used to winning tosses."

Virat's toss record has been really impressive in IPL 2021 so far, having won his third toss in four matches. He even got one over Eoin Morgan in the previous contest after continuously losing the toss against him during India-England series. With three wins on the trot this season, it seems like Virat Kohli needs to get used to winning tosses as well as matches with his side playing some brilliant cricket.
