Wanindu Hasaranga is one of those players in world cricket right now who is taking giant strides in recent times. The Sri Lankan all-rounder has had a memorable 2021 where he has caught everyone's attention with his special abilities in all departments of the game, whether it's batting, bowling or fielding.

He has played some scintillating cameos for Sri Lanka and for his sides in franchise cricket. The 24-year-old has also produced some spectacular efforts on the field showing why he is one of the few three-dimensional cricketers in the sport right now. However, his unique ability remains his mystery bowling by which he has constantly bamboozled all the batsmen across the globe.

Hasaranga weaves his magic in Abu Dhabi once again

A special demonstration of the same was at display during match 27 of Abu Dhabi T10 League between Deccan Gladiators and Bangla Tigers. Tom Kohler-Cadmore's outstanding 96-run knock had powered the Gladiators to a huge score of 140/1 in 10 overs. It was always going to be a huge task for the Tigers to hunt down the mammoth target and Wanindu Hasaranga piled on their misery.

The leg-spinner came to bowl in the 4th over of the innings and after being hit for six, he dismissed Karim Janat after the batsman tried to slog another. He then clean bowled Johnson Charles on the next delivery itself, taking 2 crucial wickets for his side.
