Following a physical altercation with teammate Draymond Green during a practice session earlier this month, Golden State Warriors guard Jordan Poole has addressed the issue in a news conference ahead of their NBA regular season opener against Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night.
The incident took place on October 5, when both the players came face-to-face during a practice session. While the 23-year-old Poole pushed the former Defensive Player of the Year, Green responded by swinging a punch on his young teammate.
On Saturday, the four-time NBA champion offered a public apology and expressed that the incident was a huge embarrassment for him, Poole, his family and the team. On Sunday night, Jordan Poole addressed the media on his training altercation with Draymond Green and said, "He (Draymond Green) apologized, and we planned on handling ourselves (professionally) that way."

Poole ended further questions on the incident and asked the reporters to move forward with contract-related inquiries. The Warriors guard said, "We are here to play basketball and everybody in the locker room and on our team knows that (what) it takes to win a championship and we're going to do that on the court."
Poole also talked about his recent four-year-long contract extension with the Dubs that worth around $140 million. Apart from Poole, the Warriors have also extended forward Andrew Wiggins' contract which is reportedly worth $109 million.
