Veteran Indian off-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has been out of the scheme of things in the Indian national team. While the cricketer was snubbed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) as the latter announced the Annual Player Central Contracts recently, the Indian off-spinner was seen in good spirits.
Although the cricketer has kept his social presence alive always, in the latest videos doing rounds, the cricketer was taken for a spin by wrestler Sangeeta Phogat. The incident took place at the wrap-up party of a dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. Sangeeta Phogat along with Yuzvendra Chahal’s wife Dhanashree Verma, were the participants at the recently concluded show with the latter being among the five finalists.
Coming back to the video going viral, Chahal found himself in an unexpected situation as the Indian wrestler lifted the cricketer on her shoulders, which is a common sight in the sport of wrestling and twirled him. However, this moment left everyone present burst into laughter, the cricketer later requested Phogat to stop.

The Indian leg-spinner was among the seven cricketers who lost a central contract with the BCCI for 2023-24 season. However, the 33-year-old was previously included in Grand C of the Annual Player Contracts for 2022-23 season.
